The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elivélton Valle helped the player get up and apologised. In the 15th match minute, SE Palmeiras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elivélton Valle to maneuver through the defense. Abelardo Medeiros scored 0-2 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Flavio Fertus, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jeremias Urtsua hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Alfredo Vieira took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Flavio Fertus. Apocalípticos & Caóticos's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Apocalípticos & Caóticos getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Jeremias Urtsua hit a great ball. 32 minutes into the game, Omar Burutzagi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Apocalípticos & Caóticos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SE Palmeiras the free kick. The supporters of SE Palmeiras booed when Apocalípticos & Caóticos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Omar Burutzagi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 34 played minutes, SE Palmeiras's João Vítor de Almeida shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Flavio Fertus came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SE Palmeiras reached it. In the 35th minute Abelardo Medeiros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Fertus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Guib sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Natanael Paraense hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Abelardo Medeiros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Flavio Fertus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Apocalípticos & Caóticos's Flavio Fertus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abelardo Medeiros in the 56th minute of play. Abelardo Medeiros struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Flavio Fertus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SE Palmeiras. Abelardo Medeiross short, quick shot in the 61stth minute got Flavio Fertus to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abelardo Medeiros in the 64th minute of play forced Apocalípticos & Caóticos's goalkeeper Flavio Fertus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Oswaldo Godoi fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SE Palmeiras's protests and gave Oswaldo Godoi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 68th minute, Oswaldo Godoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 69 played minutes, Apocalípticos & Caóticos's Ricardo Estevon shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Will Muralhas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Apocalípticos & Caóticos reached it. The supporters of Apocalípticos & Caóticos booed when SE Palmeiras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elivélton Valle didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abelardo Medeiros took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Flavio Fertus. Flavio Fertus dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Flavio Fertus was a little too slow when Abelardo Medeiros got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 82nd minute. The score was now 0-5. Will Muralhas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Guib, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched SE Palmeiras eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
