After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Berry Corley managed to get in a good position for a shot. Flames FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Berry Corley was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filipe Travassos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Matt Stokes hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Filipe Travassos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Berry Corley, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Jorginho Soaress short, quick shot in the 34thth minute got Jerrod Staples to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Filipe Travassos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donald Kearns in the 38th minute of play. 43 minutes into the game, Orval Crow cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Filipe Travassos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The wind increased when Orval Crow made the kick off in the second half. Jorginho Soares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerrod Staples having to interfere. Orval Crow kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Jorginho Soares might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jerrod Staples. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jorginho Soares ran back to his position shaking his head. Flames FC's Rusty Blalock was substituted for Matt Stokes. Flames FC made a substitution. Geraldo Gagnon replaced Chase Hale. In the 68th minute, Orval Crow hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jerrod Staples took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorginho Soares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 69 played minutes Flames FC got a freekick which was hit by Berry Corley. After 71 played minutes Internazionale-RS got a freekick which was hit by Teodoro Costa. Filipe Travassos was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Valère Flowers. Flames FC's Jerrod Staples played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorginho Soares in the 74th minute of play. After 75 played minutes Internazionale-RS got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Magalhães. Filipe Travassos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Orval Crow in the 76th minute. The corner led Flames FC's Ellsworth Erwin to fire away a dangerous shot which Filipe Travassos despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A collision led to Flames FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Ellsworth Erwin hit a great ball. 95 minutes in the game, Donald Kearns fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Filipe Travassos having to interfere.
