If Tibor Dudics had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pál Benkó showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orval Crow, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Imre Selymes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Jerrod Staples made a huge save. Berry Corley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pál Benkó having to interfere. If Orval Crow had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Flames FC's Donald Kearns got his second yellow card of the match in the 34th minute. Jerrod Staples made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tibor Dudics in the 57th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Flames FC's goal looked a bit too open when Márton Petres came free, but Jerrod Staples reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Orval Crow hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Flames FC's Orval Crow got a free kick in the 67th minute. Imre Selymes struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Jerrod Staples didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leeds.
