Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gunnar Nordahl got the match started through his kick off. After a defensive mix-up in La vecchia signora's zone, Imre Selymes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ingvar Lindberg came out of the goal and Imre Selymes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 5th minute, Zsolt Simon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pál Benkó made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herman Arvidsson in the 7th minute of play. Gábor Kádár hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 10th minute, Herman Arvidsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ingvar Lindberg was a little too slow when Mihály Szikora got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 12th minute. The score was now 1-0. 23 minutes into the match, Leeds's goal looked a bit too open when Gunnar Nordahl came free, but Pál Benkó reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pál Benkó showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herman Arvidsson in the 24th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the game, Gábor Kádár was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Leeds's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La vecchia signora the free kick. The supporters of La vecchia signora booed when Leeds was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gábor Kádár didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Leeds's Máté Szekeres got a free kick in the 36th minute. Pál Benkó showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gunnar Nordahl in the 39th minute of the match. The supporters of Leeds booed when La vecchia signora was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herman Arvidsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Márton Petres took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ingvar Lindberg. Ingvar Lindberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mihály Szikora to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Maximilian Larsfelt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihály Szikora in the 54th minute of play forced La vecchia signora's goalkeeper Ingvar Lindberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Imre Selymes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ingvar Lindberg. La vecchia signora's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Imre Selymes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Tibor Dudics fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingvar Lindberg having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Leeds's Imre Selymes got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Ingvar Lindberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mihály Szikora went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. La vecchia signora's Ingvar Lindberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tibor Dudics in the 75th minute of play. Ingvar Lindberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Imre Selymes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gunnar Nordahl in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pál Benkó saved Leeds from getting behind. Ingvar Lindberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tibor Dudics went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. Ingvar Lindberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mihály Szikora in the 88th minute of the match. Mihály Szikora struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Ingvar Lindberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leeds.
