The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Karl Pilgren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nildo Miranda in the 41st minute. Diamonds FC's Baltazar Diniz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Billy Sandström in the 42nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Billy Sandström in the 46th minute of play forced Diamonds FC's goalkeeper Baltazar Diniz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Nildo Miranda fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Diamonds FC's protests and gave Nildo Miranda a yellow card for diving instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Esat Çeka made a kick off. Peter Paul Crouch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Peter Paul Crouch could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Baltazar Diniz made a huge save. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched BANDOLEIROS osasco eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
