Apocalípticos & Caóticos's Erasmo Loi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Apocalípticos & Caóticos from getting a goal against them. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when CJ Kane stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling CJ Kane in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erasmo Loi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 59 minutes into the match, Apocalípticos & Caóticos's Edelmiro Taurino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thomas Ravelli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Fernando Gamus might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Thomas Ravelli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fernando Gamus ran back to his position shaking his head. Thomas Ravelli made a fantastic save in the 98th minute, when Jonathan Calleri sent off a good shot on target. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
