A collision led to Swindon Sweden FF getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Urban Koch hit a great ball. After having played for 6 minutes, Sven-Erik Lindberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Swindon Sweden FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sven-Erik Lindberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kasper Bivall's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Reynaldo Tino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. In the 11th minute Flamengo were awarded a corner. Stig-Arne Ekerot went to the cornerflag to take it. Henrik Kilström made a great header on Flamengo's corner, it was just that Swindon Sweden FF's Reynaldo Tino managed to reach the ball for a save. August Hjortberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcus Östman, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brian Falck in the 15th minute of play forced Flamengo's goalkeeper August Hjortberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the game, Swindon Sweden FF's Brian Falck nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. August Hjortberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Marcus Östman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. August Hjortberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus Östman in the 20th minute of the match. Flamengo's August Hjortberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brian Falck in the 23rd minute of play. In the 23rdth minute of the game Brian Falck who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Flamengo's August Hjortberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 29th minute Kasper Bivall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reynaldo Tino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kasper Bivall in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Reynaldo Tino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Arturo Espiridion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kasper Bivall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo Tino having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kasper Bivall made a kick off. Kasper Bivall's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Reynaldo Tino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. Filiberto Sauca made in the 55th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Brian Falck. In the 61st minute, Kasper Bivall left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Flamengo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After some careless play in the Swindon Sweden FF defense, Kasper Bivall kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Reynaldo Tino. The Swindon Sweden FF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Reynaldo Tino should have stopped the shot. Swindon Sweden FF's Algot Spets was substituted for Kurt Haglund. Doğuş Falcıoğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Swindon Sweden FF's Sten Jespersson was substituted for Sven-Erik Lindberg. The supporters of Swindon Sweden FF booed when Flamengo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Doğuş Falcıoğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Brian Falck from long distance, 74 minutes into the match, got August Hjortberg's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 76th minute Kasper Bivall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reynaldo Tino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flamengo made a substitution. Elliott Gustafsson replaced Basílio Ornelas. Flamengo were awarded a corner in the 78th minute after Swindon Sweden FF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fredric Zander took the corner. The corner led Flamengo's Fredric Zander to fire away a dangerous shot which Reynaldo Tino despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Swindon Sweden FF's goalkeeper Reynaldo Tino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Brian Falck who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 91stth minute tested the skills of August Hjortberg when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of Swindon Sweden FF booed when Flamengo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Doğuş Falcıoğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Many of Swindon Sweden FF's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Swindon Sweden FF may have spent more time on the ball, but Flamengo were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
