The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Vladimir Pinheiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Mårtensson in the 3rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stefan Bogren in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vladimir Pinheiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 8 played minutes Lidköping got a freekick which was hit by Adam Mårtensson. In the 10th minute, Stefan Bogren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vladimir Pinheiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Jens-Åke Larsfelt charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jens-Åke Larsfelt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Lunna IF booed when Lidköping was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jens-Åke Larsfelt didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 32 minutes of play, Lidköping's Stefan Bogren made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vladimir Pinheiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefan Bogren in the 34th minute of play forced Lunna IF's goalkeeper Vladimir Pinheiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luís Figo struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Kristoffer Västerstrand didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lunna IF. When Adam Mårtensson came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Lidköping fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adam Mårtensson couldn't finish the play. Vladimir Pinheiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stefan Bogren, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Luís Figo got his second yellow card in the match during the 47th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After the first half Lidköping were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When Tobias Hysén fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lunna IF's protests and gave Tobias Hysén a yellow card for diving instead. Vladimir Pinheiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stefan Bogren in the 55th minute. In the 56th minute Lidköping were awarded a corner. Allan Björk went to the cornerflag to take it. 63 minutes into the game, Stefan Bogren recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vladimir Pinheiro. Stefan Bogren showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. Gottfrid Colin got a throw-in 66 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Tobias Hysén. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stefan Bogren got free with Vladimir Pinheiro in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stefan Bogren in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vladimir Pinheiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A nice corner shot did that Stefan Bogren got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Vladimir Pinheiro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 72nd minute, Leo Olsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Valentin Jönsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lunna IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Valentin Jönsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kristoffer Västerstrand breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vladimir Pinheiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Mårtensson in the 75th minute of the match. Allan Björk made a great header on Lidköping's corner, it was just that Lunna IF's Vladimir Pinheiro managed to reach the ball for a save. A collision led to Lunna IF getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Lin Feng Xi hit a great ball. In the 96th minute, Stefan Bogren made a precise shot to the right of Vladimir Pinheiro. Lunna IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. Lidköping's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
