In the 25th match minute, Hammarby IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gösta Söderberg to maneuver through the defense. Holger Vester took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernt Finnman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. GrassNuts FC's Pierre-Emile Højbjerg was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Holger Vester in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Su Peng Jian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celedonio Dominguez in the 28th minute of play. Su Peng Jian was a little too slow when Francesco Totti got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 2-0. In the 37th minute Gösta Söderberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Su Peng Jian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hammarby IF's Holger Vester played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pierre-Emile Højbjerg in the 38th minute of play. After having played for 70 minutes, Vitaliy van der Aa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GrassNuts FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vitaliy van der Aa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Roger Magnusson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Holger Vester made a huge save. Holger Vester showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vitaliy van der Aa, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Holger Vester made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
