Lidköping's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Allan Björk in the 12th minute. Allan Björk made a great header on Lidköping's corner, it was just that Skövde AIK's Viktor Pettersson managed to reach the ball for a save. Dariusz Puchlik's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Viktor Pettersson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Kevin Keegan's late challenge caught a Lidköping's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kevin Keegan helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Skövde AIK getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Kevin Keegan hit a great ball. Stefan Bogren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 18 minutes into the match, Skövde AIK's goal looked a bit too open when Stefan Bogren came free, but Viktor Pettersson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adam Mårtensson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viktor Pettersson having to interfere. Viktor Pettersson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stefan Bogren went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 31st minute, Stig Söderquist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Adam Mårtensson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stefan Bogren in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Viktor Pettersson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kristoffer Västerstrand made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Chen Ao Fan sent off a good shot on target. After 49 minutes Lidköping's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Chen Ao Fan who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Chen Ao Fan got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Kristoffer Västerstrand quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Knut Rudberg during the 49th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 49th minute, Knut Rudberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Chen Ao Fan was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adam Mårtensson in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Viktor Pettersson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 63 minutes, Kurt Hamrin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Skövde AIK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kurt Hamrin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Skövde AIK made a substitution. Jerry Williams replaced Kurt Hamrin. 71 minutes into the match, Stefan Bogren notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Skövde AIK's Viktor Pettersson. Viktor Pettersson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kristoffer Västerstrand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chen Ao Fan in the 75th minute of the match. Lidköping's Kristoffer Västerstrand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chen Ao Fan in the 75th minute of play. Stefan Bogren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Viktor Pettersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adam Mårtensson, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 86th minute, Stefan Bogren reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Viktor Pettersson. The goal made the score 0-6. Viktor Pettersson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Mårtensson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Stefan Bogren came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Lidköping fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stefan Bogren couldn't finish the play. Lidköping made a substitution. Orvar Moberg replaced Per-Åke Myr. When the final whistle sounded Lidköping left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Skövde AIK.
