Arturo Espiridion fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lars Norberg having to interfere. Olof Hamnberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 10th minute Flamengo were awarded a corner. Stig-Arne Ekerot went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Stig-Arne Ekerot got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lars Norberg quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 14 minutes spikarna's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. Lars Norberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 20th minute, Kasper Bivall left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Flamengo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Kasper Bivall sped through spikarna's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lars Norberg. Atakan Pepe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without August Hjortberg having to interfere. Kasper Bivall received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lars Norberg came out and tried to block the shot, but Kasper Bivall slotted it home off the left post making it 5-0 in the 33rd minute. Kasper Bivall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lars Norberg having to interfere. If Kasper Bivall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 41 minutes into the match, Flamengo's goal looked a bit too open when Kaj Hård came free, but August Hjortberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kasper Bivall could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Lars Norberg made a huge save. 44 minutes had been played when some careless play by spikarna's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Stig-Arne Ekerot was slow to take the kick. During this time Flamengo's players had a chance to rest. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kaj Hård was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, spikarna's goal looked a bit too open when Kasper Bivall came free, but Lars Norberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Flamengo getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Henrik Kilström hit a great ball. 55 minutes into the match, Flamengo's goalkeeper August Hjortberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kaj Hård. Lars Norberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kasper Bivall in the 61st minute of play. spikarna's Lars Norberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kasper Bivall in the 62nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Flamengo's zone, Olof Hamnberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. August Hjortberg came out of the goal and Olof Hamnberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Flamengo made a substitution. Fredric Zander replaced Edwardt Balmett. A collision led to Flamengo getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Stig-Arne Ekerot hit a great ball. Kasper Bivall might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lars Norberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kasper Bivall ran back to his position shaking his head. 76 minutes into the match, spikarna's Atakan Pepe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that August Hjortberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 78 minutes, Elof Hellsing mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the spikarna and the Flamengo players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 78 played minutes spikarna got a freekick which was hit by Elof Hellsing. In the 79th match minute, spikarna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elof Hellsing to maneuver through the defense. If Arturo Espiridion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind spikarna's goalkeeper Lars Norberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fredric Zander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Lars Norberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kaj Hård could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but August Hjortberg made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Kasper Bivall's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lars Norberg was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Henrik Kilström hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Kasper Bivall charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kasper Bivall the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kasper Bivall kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Atakan Pepe took a quick shot and it went in 5-1 without a chance for August Hjortberg to make any attempt to save it. For all the effort they put into the match, the spikarna players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Flamengo.
