The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Reynaldo Tino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vitaliy van der Aa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Vitaliy van der Aa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Reynaldo Tino. That made the score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. GrassNuts FC were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after Swindon Sweden FF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Pierre-Emile Højbjerg took the corner. The GrassNuts FC fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when GrassNuts FC's Vitaliy van der Aa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 20 minutes into the game, Swindon Sweden FF's Marcus Östman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Su Peng Jian made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Reynaldo Tino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vitaliy van der Aa in the 26th minute. Reynaldo Tino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pierre-Emile Højbjerg's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Su Peng Jian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brian Falck, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Swindon Sweden FF were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after GrassNuts FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Brian Falck took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Brian Falck got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Su Peng Jian quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Kurt Haglund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Swindon Sweden FF's Urban Koch got a free kick in the 46th minute. In the 47th minute, Pierre-Emile Højbjerg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After a rather tough play, Swindon Sweden FF's Kurt Haglund got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 58th minute, Brian Lindberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. GrassNuts FC's Su Peng Jian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Östman in the 62nd minute of play. When Swindon Sweden FF's Marcus Östman in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye GrassNuts FC's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Erik Lindberg in the 67th minute of play forced GrassNuts FC's goalkeeper Su Peng Jian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the match, GrassNuts FC's goal looked a bit too open when Melker Aspengren came free, but Su Peng Jian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Verner Wahlnäs scored 4-2 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Reynaldo Tino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Swindon Sweden FF made a substitution. Algot Spets replaced Kurt Haglund. Melker Aspengren charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Melker Aspengren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 83rd match minute, Swindon Sweden FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Melker Aspengren to maneuver through the defense. GrassNuts FC made a substitution. Cosimo Staniscia replaced Vitaliy van der Aa. The supporters of GrassNuts FC booed when Swindon Sweden FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melker Aspengren didn't get a good kick on the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Swindon Sweden FF's goal looked a bit too open when Bernt Finnman came free, but Reynaldo Tino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reynaldo Tino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernt Finnman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sten Jespersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Su Peng Jian having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 90th minute by Algot Spets got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Algot Spets in the 92ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Su Peng Jian, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Su Peng Jian made an important save on a dangerous shot by Algot Spets in the 94th minute. 95 minutes had been played when some careless play by GrassNuts FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Brian Falck was slow to take the kick. During this time Swindon Sweden FF's players had a chance to rest. GrassNuts FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
