The audience thought a goal was coming when Slawomir Cisek got free with Viktor Pettersson in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Niklas Lundqvist struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Viktor Pettersson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Shadows. Viktor Pettersson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bastian Von Axelson in the 42nd minute. 43 minutes into the match, Skövde AIK's goal looked a bit too open when David Silva came free, but Viktor Pettersson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute, Bastian Von Axelson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Niklas Lundqvist stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herbert Holmgren in the 54th minute of play forced Skövde AIK's goalkeeper Viktor Pettersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chen Ao Fan came free with the goalkeeper in the 59th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Marcos Basso could save by the left post. Marcos Basso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kurt Hamrin's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Viktor Pettersson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Slawomir Cisek in the 71st minute of the match. Jerry Williams kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. The Shadows made a substitution. Ni Yu Feng replaced Ni Zhen Ying. In the 77th minute Niklas Lundqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viktor Pettersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Viktor Pettersson came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by The Shadows's Bastian Von Axelson. But to his dismay, Bastian Von Axelson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. The Shadows were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
