The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bernt Hedling fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestor Iratxo having to interfere. 7 minutes into the match, Puskas United's goalkeeper Nestor Iratxo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andrew Tate. Alexander Biörling hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute Oliver Gallberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johan Lööf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 13 minutes La Boys's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jonatan Ivarsson who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Jonatan Ivarsson almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but La Boys's Johan Lööf did a great save. Giacomo Casanova could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Nestor Iratxo made a huge save. The referee felt a red card was in order, 31 minutes into the game, when Burni Backe put in a rough tackle. 34 minutes into the match, La Boys's goal looked a bit too open when John Godholm came free, but Johan Lööf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Puskas United's Jimmie Stephansson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Johan Lööf narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 38th minute of the match Puskas United got a corner. La Boys's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jonatan Ivarsson ran over to the corner to take the kick. A very nice done corner allowed John Godholm to score against Johan Lööf in La Boys's goal. 0-1 after 39 minutes. In the 42nd minute, John Godholm left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Puskas United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The supporters of Puskas United booed when La Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manfred Lindgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Henric Vallander kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Johan Lööf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jimmie Stephansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. After the first half Puskas United were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
In the 52nd minute, Bernt Hedling made a precise shot to the right of Nestor Iratxo. Puskas United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Nestor Iratxo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernt Hedling, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Johan Lööf made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ferruccio Granati in the 61st minute. If Andréas Åman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Puskas United's Nestor Iratxo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrew Tate in the 63rd minute of play. Ferruccio Granati kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Jimmie Stephansson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Johan Lööf. That made the score 3-3 in the 74 minute of play. Nestor Iratxo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrew Tate in the 77th minute of play. Puskas United's Nestor Iratxo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giacomo Casanova in the 79th minute of play. In the 80th minute Giacomo Casanova shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Iratxo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When La Boys's Giacomo Casanova in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Puskas United's goalie prevented a goal. Nestor Iratxo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giacomo Casanova in the 89th minute of the match. Jimmie Stephansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Johan Lööf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Puskas United's Froilan Theodore was substituted for Ferruccio Granati. Johan Lööf didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jimmie Stephansson went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-4 was the resulting score. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Puskas United walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
