Nytäppet Fc were awarded a corner in the 28th minute after Skövde AIK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Radomir Gerlach took the corner. But to his dismay, Kevin Keegan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Sture Abrahamsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chen Ao Fan in the 33rd minute of the match. After 38 played minutes Skövde AIK got a freekick which was hit by Kevin Keegan. A collision led to Nytäppet Fc getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Dave Lombardo hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Skövde AIK's Hans Petersson got a free kick in the 44th minute. 45 minutes into the match, Nytäppet Fc's Radomir Gerlach broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nils-Emil Nordmark made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nils-Emil Nordmark in the 54th minute of play forced Nytäppet Fc's goalkeeper Sture Abrahamsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sture Abrahamsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils-Emil Nordmark in the 55th minute of the match. Viktor Pettersson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dušan Vlahović, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
