Lars Norberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Niklas Lundqvist's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Niklas Lundqvist sped through spikarna's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lars Norberg. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Niklas Lundqvist in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lars Norberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marcos Basso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaj Hård, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

In the 52nd minute of the match, Sven Nordkvist tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marcos Basso saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 84 minutes into the match, spikarna's goal looked a bit too open when Bastian Von Axelson came free, but Lars Norberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute, Herbert Holmgren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The The Shadows fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. The Shadows walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
