When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kaj Hård made a kick off. Martin Mutumba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Lars Norberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lars Norberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Mutumba, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Sven Nordkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcus Ekrot having to interfere. But to his dismay, Abdi Revis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. The audience was convinced that Leonardo Trancoso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lars Norberg was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. With a little luck, Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot got control of the ball when Olof Hamnberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Sven Nordkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nono Rico recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vykans Vikingar were furious when Simon Brolin was red carded, 86 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 97th minute, Christoffer Johansson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The spikarna supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing spikarna would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
