Kasper Bivall received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nestor Iratxo came out and tried to block the shot, but Kasper Bivall slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 9th minute. August Hjortberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oliver Gallberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Flamengo defense, Oliver Gallberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of August Hjortberg. The Flamengo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that August Hjortberg should have stopped the shot. Arturo Espiridion kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 17 minutes into the game, when Doğuş Falcıoğlu put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Flamengo fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 17th minute. Penalty! Flamengo:s August Hjortberg showed great skill when he stopped Jonatan Ivarsson:s penalty. 22 minutes into the game, Arturo Espiridion cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Nestor Iratxo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ivan Björnsson got a throw-in 27 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Andréas Åman. Arturo Espiridion could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Nestor Iratxo made a huge save. August Hjortberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from John Godholm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. August Hjortberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jimmie Stephansson in the 36th minute of the match. The supporters of Flamengo booed when Puskas United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oliver Gallberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jimmie Stephansson took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised August Hjortberg. August Hjortberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jimmie Stephansson made a kick off. A collision led to Puskas United getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. John Godholm hit a great ball. Jonatan Ivarsson made in the 57th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Jimmie Stephansson immediately put the ball in play. August Hjortberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John Godholm in the 60th minute of the match. Flamengo's August Hjortberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oliver Gallberg in the 61st minute of play. John Godholm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without August Hjortberg having to interfere. Flamengo's Fredric Zander was substituted for Edwardt Balmett. Fredric Zander's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nestor Iratxo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Ivan Björnsson made in the 79th minute of the game a quick throw-in and John Godholm immediately put the ball in play. Flamengo's Fredric Zander got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ivan Björnsson made in the 91st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Andréas Åman however managed to control. 93 minutes into the match, Puskas United's goal looked a bit too open when Fredric Zander came free, but Nestor Iratxo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fredric Zander took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nestor Iratxo. Nestor Iratxo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. In the 96th minute of the game Ivan Björnsson made a throw-in which Andréas Åman played forward.
