One of La Boys:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Skövde AIK:s goal. La Boys:s Johan Lööf showed great skill when he stopped Kevin Keegan:s penalty. Skövde AIK's Ronnie Hellström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Skövde AIK from getting a goal against them. Giacomo Casanova fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronnie Hellström having to interfere. Johan Lööf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chen Ao Fan in the 23rd minute of play. Ronnie Hellström came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by La Boys's Henric Vallander. But to his dismay, Henric Vallander quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 31stth minute of the game Kevin Keegan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Boys's Johan Lööf was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Giacomo Casanova took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Ronnie Hellström to make any attempt to save it. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Boys's goalkeeper Johan Lööf, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Kevin Keegan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 46 minutes had been played when some careless play by Skövde AIK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bernt Hedling was slow to take the kick. During this time La Boys's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Bernt Hedling almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Skövde AIK's Ronnie Hellström did a great save. In the 47th minute, Torbjörn Göransson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 48th match minute, La Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torbjörn Göransson to maneuver through the defense. Johan Lööf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chen Ao Fan, who was totally free with the ball in the 49th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Giacomo Casanova to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, La Boys's goalkeeper Johan Lööf had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chen Ao Fan. La Boys's Johan Lööf proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save La Boys from getting a goal against them. After 65 played minutes Skövde AIK got a freekick which was hit by Chen Ao Fan. Skövde AIK's Jerry Williams was substituted for Kurt Hamrin. A collision led to Skövde AIK getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Chen Ao Fan hit a great ball. Ronnie Hellström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrew Tate in the 67th minute of the match. After 72 minutes of play, La Boys's Andrew Tate made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ronnie Hellström was left in no man's land by his defense there! 76 minutes into the match, Skövde AIK's goal looked a bit too open when Andrew Tate came free, but Ronnie Hellström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute, Georg Norström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giacomo Casanova in the 79th minute of play forced Skövde AIK's goalkeeper Ronnie Hellström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Chen Ao Fan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Johan Lööf was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. La Boys were awarded a corner in the 88th minute after Skövde AIK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bernt Hedling took the corner. Bernt Hedling made a great header on La Boys's corner, it was just that Skövde AIK's Ronnie Hellström managed to reach the ball for a save. Kevin Keegan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Johan Lööf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chen Ao Fan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johan Lööf having to interfere. La Boys's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
