Kjell-Arne Fredriksson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 16th minute Kasper Bivall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kent Näver saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind INIXET BK's goalkeeper Kent Näver, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kent Näver showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kasper Bivall in the 43rd minute of the match. Flamengo were furious when Stig-Arne Ekerot was red carded, 44 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 43rd minute of the game. One of Flamengo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of INIXET BK:s goal. Peder Alström placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Peder Alström was the one to do the kick off. Flamengo made a substitution. Fredric Zander replaced Edwardt Balmett. 63 minutes in the game Pål Svanberg did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Carl Kalfhage. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Hääger in the 65th minute of play forced Flamengo's goalkeeper August Hjortberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Fredric Zander managed to get in a good position for a shot. Flamengo's supporters rose to their feet, but Fredric Zander was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kent Näver breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 76 minutes of play INIXET BK's Kjell-Arne Fredriksson was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Kjell-Arne Fredriksson kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Peder Alström charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Peder Alström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 80th minute, Peder Alström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 87 played minutes INIXET BK got a freekick which was hit by Tom Lövgren. Flamengo's August Hjortberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peder Alström in the 93rd minute of play. The INIXET BK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Flamengo were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
