After having played for 11 minutes, Haritz Trespuentes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nytäppet Fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Haritz Trespuentes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcos Basso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dušan Vlahović, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Theo Svensson kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. After 25 played minutes The Shadows got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Åke Andreasson. 28 minutes into the match, The Shadows's goalkeeper Marcos Basso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Radomir Gerlach. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herbert Holmgren in the 29th minute of play forced Nytäppet Fc's goalkeeper Sture Abrahamsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 31 minutes Nytäppet Fc's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ni Zhen Ying who took care of the corner kick. Marcos Basso made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Dušan Vlahović sent off a good shot on target. 37 minutes into the match, Nytäppet Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Niklas Lundqvist came free, but Sture Abrahamsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute Niklas Lundqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sture Abrahamsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Niklas Lundqvist was the one to do the kick off. Marcos Basso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dušan Vlahović in the 52nd minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Nytäppet Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Åke Andreasson came free, but Sture Abrahamsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sture Abrahamsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Åke Andreasson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 56 minutes had been played when some careless play by Nytäppet Fc's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ni Zhen Ying was slow to take the kick. During this time The Shadows's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Ni Zhen Ying almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Nytäppet Fc's Sture Abrahamsson did a great save. 61 minutes into the game, Niklas Lundqvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Shadows's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nytäppet Fc the free kick. The audience was convinced that Haritz Trespuentes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcos Basso was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Marcos Basso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haritz Trespuentes in the 66th minute of play. The Shadows's Slawomir Cisek was substituted for Bo á Bø. Sture Abrahamsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niklas Lundqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 90th minute, Ni Zhen Ying sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Nytäppet Fc's Sture Abrahamsson didn't even have to move. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Niklas Lundqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Shadows's supporters rose to their feet, but Niklas Lundqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sture Abrahamsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
