After 4 minutes Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Anísio Cosme who took care of the corner kick. In the 13th minute Morjan Sarkhoh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Raymond saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivan Flor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Igor Stephen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Raymond having to interfere. The supporters of Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ. booed when Racing Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carolo Indalecio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Racing Club's Marco Nisio got a free kick in the 29th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Antonio Ubarna dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Vicente Bartoleme, 1-0. In the 39th minute Segundo Kepa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Raymond saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ. defense, Sven-Edvin Dalgren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vicente Bartoleme. The Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vicente Bartoleme should have stopped the shot. Morjan Sarkhoh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Francisco Raymond tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 46 minutes, Vicente Bartoleme successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sven-Edvin Dalgren made a kick off. With a little luck, Racing Club's Francisco Raymond got control of the ball when Segundo Kepa tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Ubarna in the 58th minute of play forced Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ.'s goalkeeper Vicente Bartoleme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Igor Stephen might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Francisco Raymond. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Igor Stephen ran back to his position shaking his head. Francisco Raymond stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oscar Santo's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. When the match clock showed 63 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Oscar Santo sped through Racing Club's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Francisco Raymond. 68 minutes into the match, Racing Club's Sven-Edvin Dalgren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vicente Bartoleme narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sven-Edvin Dalgren might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vicente Bartoleme. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sven-Edvin Dalgren ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 76th minute Racing Club were awarded a corner. Anísio Cosme went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Anísio Cosme got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Vicente Bartoleme quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Segundo Kepa hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. 86 minutes into the match, Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ.'s goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Edvin Dalgren came free, but Vicente Bartoleme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vicente Bartoleme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carolo Indalecio in the 91st minute of the match. The Racing Club fans' excitement grew in the 93rd match minute when Racing Club's Sven-Edvin Dalgren looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Grzegorz Krychowiak kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Racing Club's zone, Oscar Santo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francisco Raymond came out of the goal and Oscar Santo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Racing Club's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
