Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) San Lorenzo's Mo Yi Sang started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Delmiro Tabor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Matias Carlomagno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximino Ruy in the 4th minute of the match. In the 6th minute Ivan Gentza suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Ke Lin Mo charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ke Lin Mo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. ATLETICO MENDOZA made a substitution. Justo Muno replaced Ivan Gentza. In the 8th match minute, San Lorenzo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ke Lin Mo to maneuver through the defense. Matias Carlomagno came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by ATLETICO MENDOZA's Maximino Ruy. But to his dismay, Maximino Ruy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 11th minute, Severo Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximino Ruy in the 12th minute of play forced San Lorenzo's goalkeeper Matias Carlomagno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18thth minute of the game Mo Yi Sang who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ATLETICO MENDOZA's Václav Filipi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lucas Haimar struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Matias Carlomagno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ATLETICO MENDOZA. Eduardo Soriano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to San Lorenzo getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Martin Lleir hit a great ball. Matias Carlomagno was out of position in the 28 minute of play, and Maximino Ruy capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Maximino Ruy really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Matias Carlomagno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Haimar, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. San Lorenzo's Matias Carlomagno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justo Muno in the 36th minute of play. Arnaldo Musko hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 40th match minute, San Lorenzo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delmiro Tabor to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st minute Maximino Ruy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matias Carlomagno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Lucas Haimar kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Matias Carlomagno. That made the score 3-0 in the 47 minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Maximino Ruy made a kick off. Matias Carlomagno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Haimar in the 54th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justo Muno in the 56th minute of play forced San Lorenzo's goalkeeper Matias Carlomagno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matias Carlomagno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximino Ruy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 64 minutes, Václav Filipi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Václav Filipi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mo Yi Sang, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 70th minute Lucas Haimar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matias Carlomagno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the San Lorenzo defense, Maximino Ruy kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Matias Carlomagno. The San Lorenzo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matias Carlomagno should have stopped the shot. ATLETICO MENDOZA made a substitution. Juanito Azulay replaced Baldomiro Enol. With a little luck, ATLETICO MENDOZA's Václav Filipi got control of the ball when Eduardo Soriano tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Delmiro Tabor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matias Carlomagno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Haimar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 89 minutes into the game, Justo Muno cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Matias Carlomagno was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 94 minutes into the match, Justo Muno notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of San Lorenzo's Matias Carlomagno. Matias Carlomagno was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 97th match minute, San Lorenzo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduardo Soriano to maneuver through the defense. ATLETICO MENDOZA's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
