Nestor Cortez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John Skytt in the 44th minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, Lobos de Carelia's Pavao Zadro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joel Cristofor narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Prospero Perico was the one to do the kick off. Nestor Cortez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Riki Čapo in the 56th minute of play. Hugo Gonzáles received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nestor Cortez came out and tried to block the shot, but Hugo Gonzáles slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 61st minute. Nestor Cortez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Riki Čapo in the 63rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Lobos de Carelia defense, Riki Čapo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nestor Cortez. The Lobos de Carelia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nestor Cortez should have stopped the shot. NECKER49 made a substitution. Benigno Piearres replaced Riki Čapo. Joel Cristofor came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Lobos de Carelia's Prospero Perico. After a rather tough play, Lobos de Carelia's Cristobal Lia got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 87th minute Prospero Perico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Cristofor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isidoro Fagondo in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nestor Cortez saved Lobos de Carelia from getting behind.
