During this time Brown Puerto Madryn's players had a chance to rest. Marco Nisio was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 17 minutes into the match. Ivan Flor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Flavio Pirro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sven-Edvin Dalgren's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Taaniel Hill to strike the kick off in the second half. Flavio Pirro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Edvin Dalgren in the 51st minute of play. Francisco Raymond took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ladislao Salvidor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 55 minutes Racing Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was 汪景俊 who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Pál Dömötör got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Francisco Raymond quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 58 minutes into the match, Brown Puerto Madryn's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Edvin Dalgren came free, but Flavio Pirro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, Brown Puerto Madryn's Pál Dömötör sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Francisco Raymond narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Racing Club's Antonio Ubarna got a free kick in the 79th minute. Ivan Flor struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Flavio Pirro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Racing Club. After 94 played minutes Racing Club got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Edvin Dalgren. Billy Drake recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Racing Club players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
