In the 3rd minute Placido Segio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximino Hitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. San Lorenzo's Matias Carlomagno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John Skytt in the 7th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in San Lorenzo's zone, Riki Čapo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matias Carlomagno came out of the goal and Riki Čapo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 13 minutes into the game, NECKER49's Riki Čapo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Matias Carlomagno made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 15 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo's goal looked a bit too open when Silvano Casanova came free, but Matias Carlomagno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Fausto Estebano fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored San Lorenzo's protests and gave Fausto Estebano a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of NECKER49 booed when San Lorenzo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fausto Estebano didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Silvano Casanova sped through San Lorenzo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Matias Carlomagno. Matias Carlomagno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John Skytt in the 24th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the game, Riki Čapo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Matias Carlomagno was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 34 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo's goal looked a bit too open when Silvano Casanova came free, but Matias Carlomagno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silvano Casanova sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when John Skytt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of NECKER49 booed when San Lorenzo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Doni Arce didn't get a good kick on the ball. San Lorenzo's Matias Carlomagno proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save San Lorenzo from getting a goal against them. Silvano Casanova came free with the goalkeeper in the 73rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Matias Carlomagno could save by the left post. San Lorenzo's Matias Carlomagno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Fagondo in the 79th minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Salvador Bernat notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of San Lorenzo's Matias Carlomagno. Matias Carlomagno was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Matias Carlomagno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John Skytt in the 86th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Isidoro Fagondo took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Matias Carlomagno to make any attempt to save it. In the 93rd minute, NECKER49's Salvador Bernat ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Matias Carlomagno. Matias Carlomagno yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. When the final whistle sounded NECKER49 left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than San Lorenzo.
