The supporters of Argentinos del Norte booed when Racing Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Flor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Francisco Raymond took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mattias Barratt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sven-Edvin Dalgren did an outstanding performance 45 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 2-0 to the right of an irritated Primeiro Leto in the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sven-Edvin Dalgren to strike the kick off in the second half.
