When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Cipriano Sauveur took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Pedro Manzanares to make any attempt to save it. Axel Montenegro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Valdis Felbergs having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Montenegro in the 35th minute of play forced Black horses's goalkeeper Valdis Felbergs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santino Seco kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. The supporters of Colombia booed when Black horses was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Balvis Kiberkalns didn't get a good kick on the ball. Black horses's Valdis Felbergs proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Black horses from getting a goal against them. Through an outstanding action, after 62 minutes, Valdis Felbergs successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Valdis Felbergs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Montenegro in the 64th minute of play. Abram Secada ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abram Secada got free with Valdis Felbergs in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Abram Secada blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Valdis Felbergs having to make a save. With a little luck, Black horses's Valdis Felbergs got control of the ball when Abram Secada tried to sneak it across the goal line. Black horses's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
