He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Colombia reached it. Colombia's Kevin Mastache managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Sabri Ravelli in the 25 minute of the game. Mías Khalifa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Simbo FC's zone, Santino Seco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mías Khalifa came out of the goal and Santino Seco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 32 minutes into the match, Simbo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Mías Khalifa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mías Khalifa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Montenegro in the 34th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Tincho Palermo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Manzanares was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. A collision led to Colombia getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Orlando Tafalla hit a great ball. Mías Khalifa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kevin Mastache in the 44th minute of the match. In the 45th minute of the match Colombia got a corner. Simbo FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Axel Montenegro ran over to the corner to take the kick. 46 minutes into the match, Colombia's Santino Seco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mías Khalifa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mías Khalifa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Montenegro in the 47th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tincho Palermo to strike the kick off in the second half. Mías Khalifa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 50th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Axel Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Colombia's supporters rose to their feet, but Axel Montenegro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mías Khalifa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 63rd minute Nestor Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tincho Palermo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mías Khalifa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Axel Montenegro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 69 minute of play. Simbo FC's Niceto Nafarroa was substituted for Boleslaw Sidorowicz. Simbo FC's Miliano Sacristán was substituted for Tincho Palermo. Simbo FC's Nestor Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abram Secada could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Mías Khalifa made a huge save. The throw-in from Sabri Ravelli in the 83rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Colombia's Antonio Indiano. 85 minutes into the game, Abram Secada recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mías Khalifa. Abram Secada showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. In the 92nd minute Kevin Mastache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mías Khalifa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Pascual Carballar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mías Khalifa. Simbo FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pascual Carballar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Colombia walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
