After 5 played minutes, Barrikako Herensugeak F.C's Vitor Cambero shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jacobo Nores came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Barrikako Herensugeak F.C reached it. Jacobo Nores didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jokin Bernal went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Pardo in the 29th minute of play forced Barrikako Herensugeak F.C's goalkeeper Erik Thorstvedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Michel Hervé recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpected shot in the 33rd minute by Michel Hervé got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Jokin Bernal who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Jacobo Nores when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Paraguay's zone, Michel Hervé stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal and Michel Hervé tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 47 played minutes Barrikako Herensugeak F.C got a freekick which was hit by Michel Hervé. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jaime Pardo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Michel Hervé shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Nores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Barrikako Herensugeak F.C's goalkeeper Erik Thorstvedt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jaime Pardo. Jacobo Nores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michel Hervé, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Barrikako Herensugeak F.C's Etxahun Olmos was substituted for Iratxo Crespo. Barrikako Herensugeak F.C were awarded a corner in the 67th minute after Paraguay's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Vitor Cambero took the corner. After taking down the ball on Barrikako Herensugeak F.C's corner Vitor Cambero fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jacobo Nores quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michel Hervé in the 71st minute of play forced Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when Jokin Bernal came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Paraguay getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Jaime Pardo hit a great ball. Barrikako Herensugeak F.C's Unax Ondategui was substituted for Jokin Bernal. After 78 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Pardo. Paraguay's attentive Xavier Zoido managed to snatch the ball when Michel Hervé made a throw-in in the 81st minute of the game. Unax Ondategui might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacobo Nores. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Unax Ondategui ran back to his position shaking his head. Xavier Zoido hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Unax Ondategui in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacobo Nores prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 90 minutes, Michel Hervé managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barrikako Herensugeak F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Michel Hervé was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
