The supporters of AC MILAN 1899 booed when Moneyball was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacques Dupont didn't get a good kick on the ball. 4 minutes had been played when some careless play by Moneyball's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. 雷正挺 was slow to take the kick. During this time AC MILAN 1899's players had a chance to rest. AC MILAN 1899's 雷正挺 was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jose Mourinho in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Xuaco Oñaederra blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Valério Valido having to make a save. Xuaco Oñaederra ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xuaco Oñaederra in the 19th minute of play forced AC MILAN 1899's goalkeeper Valério Valido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute, Xuaco Oñaederra left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Moneyball fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Valério Valido came out of the goal and Xuaco Oñaederra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the AC MILAN 1899 defense, Xuaco Oñaederra kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valério Valido. The AC MILAN 1899 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valério Valido should have stopped the shot. After 33 played minutes AC MILAN 1899 got a freekick which was hit by Emilian Gagiu. Emanuel Bergfelt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valério Valido having to interfere. Valério Valido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xuaco Oñaederra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valério Valido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xuaco Oñaederra in the 37th minute of play. In the 39th match minute, AC MILAN 1899 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teddi Bjørngren to maneuver through the defense. 42 minutes into the match, AC MILAN 1899's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Bergfelt came free, but Valério Valido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Moneyball's Jose Mourinho got control of the ball when Krisztián Matolcsy tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half Moneyball were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Xuaco Oñaederra blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Valério Valido having to make a save. Valério Valido made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Xuaco Oñaederra sent off a good shot on target. If Xuaco Oñaederra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, AC MILAN 1899's Valério Valido got control of the ball when Xuaco Oñaederra tried to sneak it across the goal line. 66 minutes in the game Ryan Wenyong did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Gancho Shentov. Valério Valido made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Xuaco Oñaederra sent off a good shot on target. Emilian Gagiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jose Mourinho having to interfere. When the match clock showed 74 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Xuaco Oñaederra sped through AC MILAN 1899's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Valério Valido. Xuaco Oñaederra's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valério Valido read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Krisztián Matolcsy in the 78th minute of play forced Moneyball's goalkeeper Jose Mourinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xuaco Oñaederra blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Valério Valido having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xuaco Oñaederra got free with Valério Valido in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 85 minutes into the match, AC MILAN 1899's goalkeeper Valério Valido had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xuaco Oñaederra. Xuaco Oñaederra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Valério Valido tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, AC MILAN 1899's goalkeeper Valério Valido had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xuaco Oñaederra. Although AC MILAN 1899 had been in control for most of the match, Moneyball still came away with the win.
