Felipe Bikendi made in the 14th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Natalio Eder immediately put the ball in play. In the 23rd minute Godofredo Rioja shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bartolo Ignatius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Santos de Buenos Aires FC booed when Soli Deo Gloria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rolando Montel didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute, Felipe Bikendi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Soli Deo Gloria defense, Godofredo Rioja kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bartolo Ignatius. After a rather tough play, Soli Deo Gloria's Korneliusz Barna got a free kick in the 32nd minute. After some careless play in the Soli Deo Gloria defense, Godofredo Rioja kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bartolo Ignatius. The Soli Deo Gloria fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bartolo Ignatius should have stopped the shot. In the 37th minute Teofilo Beturian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Melendez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bartolo Ignatius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godofredo Rioja, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Teofilo Beturian made a kick off. Godofredo Rioja charged in rather forcefully in the 50th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Godofredo Rioja the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Santos de Buenos Aires FC getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. But to his dismay, Agix Banos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Santos de Buenos Aires FC's Vesko Karapchanski slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bartolo Ignatius. That made the score 1-3 after 69 minutes of play. Diego Melendez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agix Banos, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 75th minute Soli Deo Gloria were awarded a corner. 贺文斌 went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Ivan Cordario heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Soli Deo Gloria's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by 贺文斌 in the 80th minute. A nice corner shot did that 贺文斌 got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Diego Melendez quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 82 minutes, Agix Banos made it 2-3 with a short kick to the right side. Santos de Buenos Aires FC's Diego Melendez tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
