In the 13th minute, Germano Pernambucano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexilhão F. C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. With a little luck, Pénzügyőr SE's Vencel Mezei got control of the ball when Ronaldinho Romero tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 17th match minute, Pénzügyőr SE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bonifacio George to maneuver through the defense. Pénzügyőr SE were furious when 庄辰桑 was red carded, 23 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Intxixu Porregimon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. If Bertil Albäck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anaia Barba to make the kick off. Vencel Mezei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anaia Barba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vencel Mezei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldinho Romero in the 54th minute of the match. In the 58th minute Anaia Barba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vencel Mezei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vencel Mezei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Germano Pernambucano, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bertil Albäck got free with Intxixu Porregimon in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 64th match minute, Mexilhão F. C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anaia Barba to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th minute, Arthur dos Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pénzügyőr SE's Vencel Mezei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Germano Pernambucano in the 71st minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Pénzügyőr SE's Bertil Albäck sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Intxixu Porregimon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 79 minutes into the match, Pénzügyőr SE's goal looked a bit too open when Germano Pernambucano came free, but Vencel Mezei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bertil Albäck's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Intxixu Porregimon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Bertil Albäck could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Intxixu Porregimon made a huge save. Vencel Mezei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anaia Barba, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
