Wesley Prado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Kyle Robinson made a huge save. Kyle Robinson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Germano Pernambucano in the 12th minute. In the 13thth minute of the game Ayberk Akgün who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexilhão F. C.'s Vitório de Salles was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 17th minute Emerson Cavalcante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kyle Robinson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Ayberk Akgün notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Mexilhão F. C.'s Vitório de Salles. Vitório de Salles was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 23rd minute, Vítor Matorin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ayberk Akgün had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. Vitório de Salles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ayberk Akgün in the 38th minute of the match. Vitório de Salles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ayberk Akgün, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 41 minutes, Ayberk Akgün made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Mexilhão F. C.'s Vitório de Salles tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 47 minutes into the match, Ayberk Akgün had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vitório de Salles. Mexilhão F. C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ayberk Akgün was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ayberk Akgün made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, DS ACADEMY TEAM's Ayberk Akgün nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vitório de Salles made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. In the 57th minute, Ayberk Akgün ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vitório de Salles was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. 61 minutes into the match, Mexilhão F. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ayberk Akgün came free, but Vitório de Salles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ayberk Akgün received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Vitório de Salles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vitório de Salles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ayberk Akgün in the 65th minute of play. A collision led to Mexilhão F. C. getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Vítor Matorin hit a great ball. With a little luck, Mexilhão F. C.'s Vitório de Salles got control of the ball when Ayberk Akgün tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ayberk Akgün scored 0-6 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vitório de Salles, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 72nd minute, Ayberk Akgün ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vitório de Salles was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. Vitório de Salles was a little too slow when Ayberk Akgün got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 79th minute. The score was now 0-8. 83 minutes into the match, DS ACADEMY TEAM's goal looked a bit too open when Germano Pernambucano came free, but Kyle Robinson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jerold Lara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ayberk Akgün recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 87th minute, Jerold Lara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 92nd minute, Ayberk Akgün ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vitório de Salles was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-10. The DS ACADEMY TEAM supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing DS ACADEMY TEAM would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
