In the 36th minute, Damião Granja left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kaplan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After 39 minutes of play, DS ACADEMY TEAM's Ayberk Akgün made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emilian Martinez was left in no man's land by his defense there! 42 minutes into the match, Kaplan's goal looked a bit too open when Ayberk Akgün came free, but Emilian Martinez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ayberk Akgün came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the DS ACADEMY TEAM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ayberk Akgün couldn't finish the play. The DS ACADEMY TEAM players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Kaplan were winning 1-2.
The wind increased when Ren Zhi Ke made the kick off in the second half. Kyle Robinson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luciano Victoro in the 51st minute of play. 52 minutes into the match, Ayberk Akgün had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emilian Martinez. Kaplan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ayberk Akgün was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. DS ACADEMY TEAM were awarded a corner in the 59th minute after Kaplan's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Barnaba Jarocewicz took the corner. DS ACADEMY TEAM's Barnaba Jarocewicz was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Emilian Martinez in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Luciano Victoro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kyle Robinson came out and tried to block the shot, but Luciano Victoro slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 60th minute. Ayberk Akgün took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emilian Martinez. Emilian Martinez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. Emilian Martinez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ayberk Akgün, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. After some careless play in the Kaplan defense, Ayberk Akgün kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emilian Martinez. The Kaplan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emilian Martinez should have stopped the shot. DS ACADEMY TEAM's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
