Ambrosio Abancens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vítor Matorin's late challenge caught a The Big Bang Team Jr.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 37th minute, The Big Bang Team Jr.'s Ahmet Hamdi Kayıhan dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Ahmet Hamdi Kayıhan made the kick off in the second half. If José Paulo Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Germano Pernambucano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Ahmet Hamdi Kayıhan put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Vitório de Salles. When Germano Pernambucano came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Mexilhão F. C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Germano Pernambucano couldn't finish the play. 69 minutes into the match, Mexilhão F. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Hamdi Kayıhan came free, but Vitório de Salles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Big Bang Team Jr.'s Ambrosio Abancens proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save The Big Bang Team Jr. from getting a goal against them. After 73 minutes of play, Mexilhão F. C.'s Luiz Gustavo Magalhães made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ambrosio Abancens was left in no man's land by his defense there! Wesley Prado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Ambrosio Abancens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vitório de Salles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Hamdi Kayıhan in the 79th minute of play. Luiz Gustavo Magalhães kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. After 82 played minutes Mexilhão F. C. got a freekick which was hit by João Augusto Duarte. Vitório de Salles came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by The Big Bang Team Jr.'s Ahmet Hamdi Kayıhan. But to his dismay, Ahmet Hamdi Kayıhan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Ambrosio Abancens made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Germano Pernambucano sent off a good shot on target. Osvaldo Ferrando struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Vitório de Salles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Big Bang Team Jr.. In the 92nd minute, Lars Waller hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wesley Prado received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ambrosio Abancens came out and tried to block the shot, but Wesley Prado slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 96th minute. The The Big Bang Team Jr. players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
