SAN LORENZO FC's Primitivo Salomone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexsandro Britto in the 10th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kléber Queirós in the 14th minute of play forced SAN LORENZO FC's goalkeeper Primitivo Salomone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gavino Fortun hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Primitivo Salomone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kléber Queirós in the 16th minute of the match. The supporters of Squadra Demarchi booed when SAN LORENZO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clodoveo Corderro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Richard Moura's late challenge caught a SAN LORENZO FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After some careless play in the SAN LORENZO FC defense, Kléber Queirós kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Primitivo Salomone. The SAN LORENZO FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Primitivo Salomone should have stopped the shot. After 54 played minutes Ernesto Pereira could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 0-3 into the left cross. 61 minutes into the game, Kléber Queirós recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Primitivo Salomone. Kléber Queirós showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Oscar Saldanha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximino Ofelio in the 65th minute of play. Primitivo Salomone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kléber Queirós in the 78th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Squadra Demarchi's Kléber Queirós ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Primitivo Salomone. Primitivo Salomone yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. With a little luck, SAN LORENZO FC's Primitivo Salomone got control of the ball when Ernesto Pereira tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 85th play minute Kléber Queirós came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Primitivo Salomone. 0-6. 89 minutes into the match, SAN LORENZO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alexsandro Britto came free, but Primitivo Salomone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 90 played minutes SAN LORENZO FC got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Lorenz. SAN LORENZO FC's Primitivo Salomone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexsandro Britto in the 91st minute of play.
