None of the them looked very eager to play. 汪飞文 started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd match minute, Squadra Demarchi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel Ribeiro to maneuver through the defense. 沈迪志 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Oscar Saldanha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 沈迪志 in the 6th minute of play. The audience was convinced that 汪飞文's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oscar Saldanha was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Júnior Meirelles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 汪飞文 in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oscar Saldanha saved Squadra Demarchi from getting behind. In the 18th minute 沈迪志 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Saldanha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cylon's 马远银 quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ciro Castro, made in the 20th minute of the game. In the 22nd minute of the match, Kléber Queirós got a very nice opportunity to score, but 林城谦 was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Kléber Queirós received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. 林城谦 came out and tried to block the shot, but Kléber Queirós slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 22nd minute. Oscar Saldanha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 沈迪志 in the 28th minute of the match. After 40 minutes Squadra Demarchi's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was 宋傲远 who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Cylon's corner 庄志政 fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Oscar Saldanha quite easily take care of the ball. 沈然弘 hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kléber Queirós got free with 林城谦 in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by 汪飞文 during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When 汪飞文 came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Cylon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 汪飞文 couldn't finish the play. 庄志政 kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Cylon made a substitution. 叶建超 replaced 傅志骏. After 61 played minutes Cylon got a freekick which was hit by 庄志政. After recieving a nice pass, Squadra Demarchi's Paulinho Paraibano tried to score from far away in the 62nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Squadra Demarchi defense, 沈迪志 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Oscar Saldanha. The Squadra Demarchi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oscar Saldanha should have stopped the shot. In the 70th minute, 孙光亦 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 龙钢超 kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. 林城谦 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kléber Queirós in the 76th minute of the match. When 沈然弘 fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cylon's protests and gave 沈然弘 a yellow card for diving instead. After 79 played minutes Cylon got a freekick which was hit by 沈然弘. Squadra Demarchi's Paulinho Paraibano got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 林城谦 came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Squadra Demarchi's Samuel Ribeiro. But to his dismay, Samuel Ribeiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The audience was convinced that 沈迪志's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oscar Saldanha was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. Oscar Saldanha stood somewhat misplaced when 沈迪志 came free in front of goal and shot 2-2 to the left of him in the 95 minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
