A collision led to FC Jones getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Juha-Pekka Nurminen hit a great ball. After some careless play in the FC Jones defense, Ennio De Nardis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Unto Jokinen. The FC Jones fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Unto Jokinen should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, FC Jones's Manne Vapaniemi got a free kick in the 14th minute. If Ennio De Nardis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th match minute, XMAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Zaccardi to maneuver through the defense. Alessio Ascoli struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Unto Jokinen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for XMAS. Ennio De Nardis who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Unto Jokinen when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 29 minutes, Ville Kaukomaa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Jones and the XMAS players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of XMAS booed when FC Jones was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ville Kaukomaa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, FC Jones's Atte Luusua got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 31st minute of the match Diego Pellicciotta shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Unto Jokinen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 35th minute, Comunardo Quadrini left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The XMAS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Jyrki Lundell hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. A hard shot 41 in the game by Ennio De Nardis from a close distance when the talented Unto Jokinen managed to make a qualified save. FC Jones's players were relieved. A collision led to FC Jones getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Atte Luusua hit a great ball. In the 44th minute, Comunardo Quadrini made a precise shot to the right of Unto Jokinen. FC Jones's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Ennio De Nardis made the kick off in the second half. FC Jones's Unto Jokinen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Comunardo Quadrini in the 54th minute of play. In the 54th minute, Comunardo Quadrini ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Unto Jokinen was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. After a rather tough play, FC Jones's Santtu Virta got a free kick in the 59th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Ennio De Nardis notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of FC Jones's Unto Jokinen. Unto Jokinen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Christian Zaccardi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Unto Jokinen having to interfere. Ennio De Nardis spun around in front of the goal 68 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of FC Jones's goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ennio De Nardis in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Unto Jokinen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ville Kaukomaa in the 73rd minute of play forced XMAS's goalkeeper Concetto Garibaldi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute Juha-Pekka Nurminen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Concetto Garibaldi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Comunardo Quadrini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Unto Jokinen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christian Zaccardi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Unto Jokinen having to interfere. After having played for 82 minutes, Alessio Ascoli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. XMAS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alessio Ascoli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Unto Jokinen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Zaccardi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Ville Kaukomaa could shoot a difficult shot in the 90th minute, which Concetto Garibaldi however easily saved by the left post. XMAS's Concetto Garibaldi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save XMAS from getting a goal against them.
