Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bernardo Romeo in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sonny Bergdal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 20 minutes, Bernardo Romeo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SAN LORENZO FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernardo Romeo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With an all-out effort, SAN LORENZO FC's Sonny Bergdal threw himself towards the right post 28 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bernardo Romeo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Sonny Bergdal came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by SAN LORENZO FC's Bernardo Romeo. But to his dismay, Bernardo Romeo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Fabricio Tipi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 35thth minute, Sonny Bergdal skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabricio Tipi got free with Sonny Bergdal in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 42nd minute of the game. One of Oldham Athletic:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SAN LORENZO FC:s goal. Bernardo Romeo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ingvar Bollström made a kick off. Sonny Bergdal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardo Romeo, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Henrik Söderberg kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. A collision led to Oldham Athletic getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Henrik Söderberg hit a great ball. After having played for 62 minutes, Bernardo Romeo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
