The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 12th match minute, Oldham Athletic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrik Söderberg to maneuver through the defense. After 21 played minutes CA INCAS got a freekick which was hit by Saul Eskuin. In the 29th match minute, CA INCAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Freddy Vermudo to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benjamin Acevedo during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Benjamin Acevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ingvar Bollström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zacarias Erdiano couldn't finish the play. In the 79thth minute of the game Ingvar Bollström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CA INCAS's Esteve Cerilo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 94th minute Ingvar Bollström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteve Cerilo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute, Benjamin Acevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 96 played minutes, Oldham Athletic's Jan Gulliksson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Esteve Cerilo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Oldham Athletic reached it. Oldham Athletic walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
