Erik Ljusberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zé Paulo de Godoi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Erik Ljusberg ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Clube Atlético Palhocense's Laerte Arantes got a free kick in the 11th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Clube Atlético Palhocense's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldo Fitriansyah came free, but Zé Paulo de Godoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zé Paulo de Godoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Ljusberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Erik Ljusberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Zé Paulo de Godoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Mish Fútbol Club fans' excitement grew in the 30th match minute when Mish Fútbol Club's Erik Ljusberg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Boris Kerth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cipriano Vaz in the 32nd minute of the match. Ertan Eralkan lost his temper 34 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 33 minutes into the game, one of Mish Fútbol Club:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Boris Kerth, was totally fooled by Clube Atlético Palhocense's Arthur Vargas, who 35 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erik Ljusberg made a kick off. A collision led to Mish Fútbol Club getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Hastomo Fitriansyah hit a great ball. In the 52nd minute of the match Doriva Proença shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Boris Kerth showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Mish Fútbol Club's Stasio Kochowski managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Paulo José Toscano in the 61 minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Mish Fútbol Club's Erik Ljusberg slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zé Paulo de Godoi. That made the score 1-6 after 64 minutes of play. After some careless play in the Clube Atlético Palhocense defense, Erik Ljusberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zé Paulo de Godoi. In the 72nd minute, Mish Fútbol Club's Erik Ljusberg ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Zé Paulo de Godoi. In the 77th match minute, Mish Fútbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erik Ljusberg to maneuver through the defense.
