Arnoldo Leicea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Naim Ökmen, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Cezmi Gök fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oğuzhan Er having to interfere. Cezmi Gök blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Oğuzhan Er having to make a save. 16 minutes into the match, MarineerS FK's goal looked a bit too open when Rıfat Erdem came free, but Arnoldo Leicea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cappadocia FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Naim Ökmen in the 17th minute. After 17 played minutes Cappadocia FC got a freekick which was hit by Sarper Cesman. Cezmi Gök's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oğuzhan Er read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Cappadocia FC's Oğuzhan Er played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cezmi Gök in the 27th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 28 minutes, Oğuzhan Er successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Oğuzhan Er showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cezmi Gök, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Oğuzhan Er took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cezmi Gök, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnoldo Leicea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rıfat Erdem in the 35th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Cappadocia FC's zone, Valentin Rydberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oğuzhan Er came out of the goal and Valentin Rydberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carl Rundell kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. In the 40th minute Cezmi Gök shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oğuzhan Er saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cezmi Gök sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to MarineerS FK getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Kıvanç Balyemez hit a great ball. Cappadocia FC's Naim Ökmen got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee felt a red card was in order, 48 minutes into the game, when Ahmet Gökalp Ülker put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 48th minute of the game. One of Cappadocia FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of MarineerS FK:s goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

MarineerS FK made a substitution. Žydrūnas Pauža replaced Cezmi Gök. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Žydrūnas Pauža to make the kick off. Oğuzhan Er stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Žydrūnas Pauža's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. The MarineerS FK fans' excitement grew in the 58th match minute when MarineerS FK's Žydrūnas Pauža looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dinç Tuncay in the 61st minute of play forced Cappadocia FC's goalkeeper Oğuzhan Er to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute Dinç Tuncay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oğuzhan Er saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Cappadocia FC defense, Kıvanç Balyemez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Oğuzhan Er. The Cappadocia FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oğuzhan Er should have stopped the shot. 66 minutes into the game, MarineerS FK's Carl Rundell nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Oğuzhan Er made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Naim Ökmen in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnoldo Leicea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 75th minute Kıvanç Balyemez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oğuzhan Er saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Naim Ökmen in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnoldo Leicea saved MarineerS FK from getting behind. Mevlüt Mutlu charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mevlüt Mutlu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of MarineerS FK booed when Cappadocia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mevlüt Mutlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rd minute Žydrūnas Pauža shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oğuzhan Er saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 99th match minute, MarineerS FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mecnun Seha to maneuver through the defense. Oğuzhan Er showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentin Rydberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 102nd minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Cappadocia FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for MarineerS FK.
