Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. 邱剑海 was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that 邱剑海's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gustaw Fafinski was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. The supporters of KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A booed when A&K SPARTA BRADFORD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position.
