After a defensive mix-up in KoLiber's zone, Luisito Reynardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fulgencio Ekaitz came out of the goal and Luisito Reynardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Augusto de Moraes got free with Fulgencio Ekaitz in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Feliciano Harri's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fulgencio Ekaitz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

But to his dismay, Derk Borst quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. In the 93rd minute Wilfredo Vargas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fulgencio Ekaitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zuberbühler FC were awarded a corner in the 94th minute after KoLiber's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Paulo Garin took the corner. The corner ended in Paulo Garin almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but KoLiber's Fulgencio Ekaitz did a great save. Zuberbühler FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
