Pelle Haglund started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Defensores de Lombroso's goalkeeper Tadeo Laurgain had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Killian Fischer. In the 5th minute Ramon Edur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dieter Ringel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tadeo Laurgain stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Killian Fischer's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Manuel Klose sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 18 minutes, Killian Fischer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PoWer SC 2K5's supporters crossed their fingers, but Killian Fischer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 21st minute by Manuel Klose got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jakob Klinsmann in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tadeo Laurgain prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tadeo Laurgain made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Killian Fischer sent off a good shot on target. Killian Fischer spun around in front of the goal 28 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Defensores de Lombroso's goal. A collision led to Defensores de Lombroso getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Quique Hrabina hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute, Michael Götze got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Killian Fischer in the 38th minute of play forced Defensores de Lombroso's goalkeeper Tadeo Laurgain to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ramon Edur kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Killian Fischer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Tadeo Laurgain tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manuel Klose's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tadeo Laurgain read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Killian Fischer made the kick off in the second half. Tadeo Laurgain showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Klose in the 52nd minute of the match. PoWer SC 2K5's Dieter Ringel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save PoWer SC 2K5 from getting a goal against them. Tadeo Laurgain showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Killian Fischer in the 60th minute of the match. Defensores de Lombroso's Waldir Guerra was substituted for Edi Cavani. A collision led to PoWer SC 2K5 getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Max Babbel hit a great ball. Michael Götze charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Michael Götze the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 69 played minutes PoWer SC 2K5 got a freekick which was hit by Michael Götze. PoWer SC 2K5's Dieter Ringel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pelle Haglund in the 72nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pelle Haglund got free with Dieter Ringel in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Defensores de Lombroso's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pelle Haglund in the 77th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of PoWer SC 2K5's goalie and right to Andres Matteo. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. PoWer SC 2K5's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. If Killian Fischer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th match minute, PoWer SC 2K5 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Philipp Breitner to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th match minute, PoWer SC 2K5 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michael Götze to maneuver through the defense. After 90 played minutes PoWer SC 2K5 got a freekick which was hit by Philipp Breitner. 93 minutes into the match, PoWer SC 2K5's goalkeeper Dieter Ringel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pelle Haglund. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Defensores de Lombroso players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
