Amadeu de Mendonça kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. In the 8th minute, Doni Velloso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience cheered when Pelle Haglund's long shot passed Christiano Arce's right side. It was 1-1, 9 minutes into the match. In the 12th minute Pelle Haglund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christiano Arce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes had been played when some careless play by SORRISO E. C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Pelle Haglund was slow to take the kick. During this time Defensores de Lombroso's players had a chance to rest. Pelle Haglund made a great header on Defensores de Lombroso's corner, it was just that SORRISO E. C.'s Christiano Arce managed to reach the ball for a save. 15 minutes into the match, Defensores de Lombroso's goal looked a bit too open when Cléber da Costa came free, but Tadeo Laurgain reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, SORRISO E. C.'s Edmílson da Rocha got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 23rd minute, Benjamin Herrera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Defensores de Lombroso getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Fang Yue Ling hit a great ball. Tadeo Laurgain came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by SORRISO E. C.'s Cléber da Costa. But to his dismay, Cléber da Costa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After 27 minutes, Cléber da Costa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SORRISO E. C. and the Defensores de Lombroso players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Cléber da Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot. SORRISO E. C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Cléber da Costa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tadeo Laurgain breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cléber da Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadeo Laurgain having to interfere. In the 32nd match minute, Defensores de Lombroso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel Cruz to maneuver through the defense. Tadeo Laurgain made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Arnaud Clément sent off a good shot on target. After 34 minutes Defensores de Lombroso's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Arnaud Clément who took care of the corner kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Defensores de Lombroso fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 34th minute. Penalty! Defensores de Lombroso:s Tadeo Laurgain showed great skill when he stopped Cléber da Costa:s penalty. 35 minutes into the game, Cléber da Costa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Tadeo Laurgain was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cléber da Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadeo Laurgain having to interfere. If Cléber da Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cléber da Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadeo Laurgain having to interfere. Cléber da Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 47 minutes into the game, Fang Yue Ling was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Defensores de Lombroso's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SORRISO E. C. the free kick. A collision led to Defensores de Lombroso getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Fang Yue Ling hit a great ball. 48 minutes into the match, Cléber da Costa notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Defensores de Lombroso's Tadeo Laurgain. Tadeo Laurgain was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

The wind increased when Cléber da Costa made the kick off in the second half. The corner led Defensores de Lombroso's Pelle Haglund to fire away a dangerous shot which Christiano Arce despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cléber da Costa in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tadeo Laurgain prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Pelle Haglund came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Defensores de Lombroso fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pelle Haglund couldn't finish the play. In the 60th minute, Fang Yue Ling hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd minute Cléber da Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeo Laurgain saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Cléber da Costa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tadeo Laurgain was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. In the 70th minute SORRISO E. C. were awarded a corner. Arnaud Clément went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Válter Ceresso heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Davi Isac sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tadeo Laurgain didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Davi Isac went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cléber da Costa in the 76th minute of play forced Defensores de Lombroso's goalkeeper Tadeo Laurgain to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 81 minutes Defensores de Lombroso's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Arnaud Clément who took care of the corner kick. Cléber da Costa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tadeo Laurgain read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. When SORRISO E. C.'s Cléber da Costa in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the referee ended the match the SORRISO E. C. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
