Loco Gatti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogelio Luco in the 7th minute of the match. Loco Gatti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rómulo Jaramillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute of the match Altermundi FC got a corner. Defensores de Lombroso's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sem Barang ran over to the corner to take the kick. Loco Gatti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaitano Speed in the 25th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Defensores de Lombroso's zone, Gaitano Speed stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Loco Gatti came out of the goal and Gaitano Speed tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Altermundi FC's Rogelio Luco in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Defensores de Lombroso's goalie prevented a goal. Loco Gatti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rogelio Luco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pelle Haglund got free with Ysmael Alemparte in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 40 minutes, Rogelio Luco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Altermundi FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rogelio Luco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pelle Haglund to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Altermundi FC booed when Defensores de Lombroso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Quique Hrabina didn't get a good kick on the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Defensores de Lombroso's goal looked a bit too open when Rogelio Luco came free, but Loco Gatti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rogelio Luco kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 58th minute Benjamin Herrera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ysmael Alemparte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ysmael Alemparte stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pelle Haglund's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramon Edur in the 61st minute of play forced Altermundi FC's goalkeeper Ysmael Alemparte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute Natal Quintanilla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ysmael Alemparte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Altermundi FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
