In the 11th minute, Ahmet İlke Ertüze reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hannes Dresdner. The goal made the score 1-0. Hannes Dresdner was a little too slow when Ahmet İlke Ertüze got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 2-0. Ahmet İlke Ertüze might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hannes Dresdner. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ahmet İlke Ertüze ran back to his position shaking his head. 17 minutes into the match, Black Dragons's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet İlke Ertüze came free, but Hannes Dresdner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dorel Bolborici made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waud Soetemans in the 21st minute of play. Hannes Dresdner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet İlke Ertüze in the 42nd minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel.
