Corneliu Vulpăşin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 14 minutes into the game, Valentin Voicu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Corneliu Vulpăşin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Corneliu Vulpăşin came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by VILLARREAL UNITED's Valentin Voicu. But to his dismay, Valentin Voicu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Corneliu Vulpăşin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valentin Voicu's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. VILLARREAL UNITED were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after Unicorns ™'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Florian Pruss took the corner. Florian Pruss was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Valentin Voicu managed to get in a good position for a shot. VILLARREAL UNITED's supporters rose to their feet, but Valentin Voicu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Corneliu Vulpăşin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valentin Voicu in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Corneliu Vulpăşin saved Unicorns ™ from getting behind. In the 41st minute Bennvar Trollegaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Corneliu Vulpăşin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valentin Voicu took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Corneliu Vulpăşin. Corneliu Vulpăşin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Valentin Voicu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tudor Bodea to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Valentin Voicu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Corneliu Vulpăşin. Unicorns ™'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valentin Voicu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. After 54 played minutes Unicorns ™ got a freekick which was hit by Iacob Surdu. Unicorns ™'s Corneliu Vulpăşin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Voicu in the 55th minute of play. If Valentin Voicu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Corneliu Vulpăşin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentin Voicu in the 59th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the game, Iacob Surdu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Unicorns ™'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave VILLARREAL UNITED the free kick. The supporters of VILLARREAL UNITED booed when Unicorns ™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iacob Surdu didn't get a good kick on the ball. VILLARREAL UNITED's Gert Vesterberg was substituted for Hustaz Quijana. VILLARREAL UNITED made a substitution. Nofre Madariaga replaced Florian Pruss. Iacob Surdu hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Valentin Voicu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Valentin Voicu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Corneliu Vulpăşin having to make a save. 72 minutes into the match, Unicorns ™'s goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Voicu came free, but Corneliu Vulpăşin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 84 minutes into the game, VILLARREAL UNITED's Valentin Voicu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. VILLARREAL UNITED's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
